My Mom and I Loved London

As I’m sure you already know, it is now March, and that means that Spring is here. I couldn’t explain the specific reason why, but I felt like winter was never going to come to an end this year. Fortunately, those cold days are gone for now, so they’re aren’t something I have to worry about for the time being. Instead of spending time talking about a season I don’t even like, let’s talk about how I am kicking off Spring.

At the beginning of last month, my Mom had sent me an email and asked if I wanted to go on a trip to London with her. Not only was this a really exciting offer, but the trip was already booked, which made things really easy on me. These offers don’t come around all the time, so I said yes to avoid regretting missing this opportunity in the future. Although I love travelling, I get a little nervous about flying, but fortunately we didn’t encounter any problems.

Once we arrived and the flight staff allowed us to get off of the plane, we went and picked up our City Airport car rental. Thanks to having a reservation in advance, it couldn’t have been any easier to get our City Airport car rental. Since we got that taken care of so quickly, it didn’t take long to begin our actual trip. We spent the next five days in London, and had an absolutely wonderful time.

I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate the start of Spring, and I am just so thankful I got this great opportunity.

I’m So Glad I Got to Take a Trip with My Dad

Since I was a little kid, I have always had a wonderful relationship with my Dad. I think the biggest reason that I have always have such a great relationship with him is because he has always found a way to make time for me. Even though he has always been very busy with his career, he has never been the type of person to neglect me as a result of his obligations at work. Instead, it is almost like he is able to fit thirty hours worth of activities into a twenty-four hour day.

Now that I’m older and no longer live at home, we obviously don’t get to spend as much time with each other as we used to. However, this doesn’t mean that are relationship is any less strong than it has always been. We both lead busy lives, but we always remember to make time for each other.

Since I don’t get to see him as much as I would like, I was really excited when we got to take a trip to London together. We actually enjoyed our flight to London, and from the second that we picked up our City airport car rental, I could tell that we were going to have an amazing trip and a great experience since we would be hanging out with each other.

I Surprised My Wife with a Trip to London

Last month, I surprised my wife by telling her that we were taking a four day trip to London. My wife truly loves to go on trips (especially when it is a destination like London), so she was thoroughly excited when she heard this news. Although it was a very spontaneous trip for her (which is exactly what I wanted), I had actually spent a good amount of time planning out the trip in secret for the two of us. I wanted her to enjoy the trip as much as possible, and from what I have learnt over the years, trips are a lot more fun when they are planned in advance.

In addition to getting our flight and hotel room reserved, I also took care of our car rental in advance. I simply reserved a City airport car rental on the Internet, so that when we arrived in London, we could quickly get our car rental and kick off our time in London as soon as possible.

As a result of my advance planning, we had a wonderful time in London with each other. We did a lot of shopping, ate some really good food and simply enjoyed being with each other without the stress of our normal daily routine.
